Licensed Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Licensed Electricians for projects located in and around Newell, WV.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $44/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Installation, Maintenance, Repair, and Troubleshooting of Electrical Raceways, Systems, Conductors, Fixtures, and Equipment
• Plan, Route, Fabricate, and Install Complete Electrical Raceway Systems at both Grade and Elevated Locations, including but not limited to, Cable Tray and Steel PVC, Aluminum and Plastibond Conduit up to 4"
• Fabricate and Install Raceway Supports, Electrical/Instrument Junction Boxes and Terminate Multi-Conductor Cables
  utilizing Plans and Specifications.
• Install Conductors, Utilizing both Manual and Mechanical Wire Pulling Techniques, including Termination
  and Tagging
• Establish an Electrically Safe Work Condition 
• Coordinate Simple and Complex Lock Out Tag Out
• Install and Remove Temporary Protective Grounding Systems
• Install and Terminate Switchgear, MCC Batteries, Battery Chargers, Transformers, Motors, Terminal
  Cabinets, and Circuit Breakers
• Utilize Electrical Test Equipment including V.O.M. Amp Meters and Insulation Testers
• Excavation and Installation of Underground Electrical Duct Bank Raceways, including but not limited to,
  Manual Excavation Form-work, Raceway Installation, Concrete Placement, and Finishing
• Demolish Verified De-energized Electrical Installations
• Install Grounding Systems
• Maintain Building and Grounds inclusive of Removing Debris, Cleaning, Handling, and Disposing of Trash,
  and Moving Tools and other Work items to their Appropriate Locations
• Keeping of Accurate and Legible Records of Test and Maintenance for Regulatory or Owner Records
